Frequently asked questions

The questions clients ask most before we start. If yours is not here, use the form below.

How is penetration testing different from a vulnerability assessment?

A vulnerability assessment finds and ranks every known weakness across your systems. A penetration test goes further: our specialists attempt to exploit those weaknesses to prove what an attacker could actually reach.

Will testing affect our production systems?

Scope, timing and limits are agreed with your IT team before we start, for example testing outside business hours or on staging. Tests that could take systems down are outside the standard scope.

Can we use the results for ISO 27001 or PDPA?

Yes. Reports follow ISO 27001 guidance and use CVSS scoring, so they serve as risk-assessment evidence for auditors and regulators.

Where should we start if we have never done any of this?

Most organisations start with one round of penetration testing to see real risk, then train staff and build the standards. If certification is already the goal, start with an ISO 27001 gap assessment.
